Perhaps indicative of
quite how common Jacob’s plight is, we actually met with another former child
soldier at the same time. Issac, a
family friend, had been abducted in 2002.
Fortunately Issac had managed to escape after a year. It was great to hear him laughing and
joking, clearly having put his experiences behind him. And we must thank him especially for
pointing out that Jorge was indeed a spitting image of ridiculous auto-tuned rapper,
T-Pain.
